We do feel concern about men in our society! Thank you for your email. You raise a lot of good questions and complex topics, and we encourage you to stay part of the conversation that evolves around our film.

Because, truly, that is our intent--to spark a conversation and mobilize efforts towards a more just and equal world.

... well, it is a response. And that is nice atleast. I'm going to attempt to analyze this.

  1. I'm not surprised they didn't answer the questions about male privilege and patriarchy - and while it disappoints me a little bit, it disappoints me significantly less than I would have thought.

  2. I still would not fund this - but if feminists fund it, I hope she is true to her intent and it does spark a reasonable conversation - could you imagine it?

  3. I still urge others to write, because if enough of us ask, maybe they will see we are truly interested and say something more.

... I doubt it, but it only takes a few seconds.
