This is almost correct. The problem here though is that this thinker is seeing this emerging trend from the lens of feminism and the male/female power struggle.

But there is a lot more going on here. For one thing men and women are both nastier than ever before. Not only that but you see this behavior in patriarchal and matriarchal power structures.

There is something very deep at work here cooking the human brain and warping it. Or perhaps we have always been this ugly it is just in the old days we kept a tighter control over it. Either way things are changing in how people deal with each other and not in a good way.

My personal view is that this is caused by a deep sense of competitiveness driven by capitalistic consumerism. Basically there are too many mice fighting over to little cheese. Only the meanest and nastiest of the mice will win. Everyone else will go without.

A man will just beat the shit out of you. A woman will ruin your life

I'm beginning to think that women have a distinct advantage in modern society because conflict is getting more toward verbal sparring than physical sparring. I think the internet has definitely helped that along. Men tend to be more physically oriented, women tend to be more mentally oriented.
