Shit like this doesn't stem from man hate, but from old gender roles. When a judge decided that my mom would have custody of me he claimed that he was the "defender of women". After years of abuse at my mom's hands I tried to change custody but the judge ruled that a daughter belonged with her mother and I was shot down. It was until a new judge presided over my case that I was able to live with my dad.

This isn't misandry, its gender stereotyping which negatively affects both genders equally. The judge assumed that my mom was natural parent, but also passive and weak, because she was a woman and my dad was unfit as a parent because he's a man.

It all comes down to this: Assuming anyone has any trait simply by their gender is stupid.
