Context: European, 35 years old, withdrew from social interactions 5 years ago (my only ones nowadays are the unavoidable ones like groceries and doctors) and my sexual life is nonexistent for the past... decade. I'm also struggling with a few health issues but the doctors so far have been helpful. I'm pretty much what they call Hikikomori.

Now that my health issues are somewhat managed/improved I'm considering to break away from this "lifestyle choice". But I can't help but wonder if there is any hope or promise on following what the red pill advocates, or maybe I'm too late to fix anything and I'm heading towards just another futile path. After all, I should know first hand the true nature of women and the majority of "trp truths" are really just confirmations of things I already had a clue about.

The tl;dr is that I'm literally living with my parents, jobless, for all this time and I want opinions of whether following TRP can help even utterly lost cases like mine.

Edit: After a bit of googling and searching the main sub I feel like I should watch Jordan Peterson.

Edit 2: Thanks for the practical replies, I'm gonna start working on myself right the fuck now. I'll also grab self-authoring.
