Complete nonsense. Hey let's normalize violence in everything but God forbid they see artistic nudes. I teach grade 7/8 and I have a Sister Wendy's 1000 masterpiece book that has nudes.... Yes, an art book with nudes... By a nun. I sometimes let students use it for art. Never a problem. 20 years ago my first week of teaching (long term supply) i took a gr 5/6 class to a museum and before i went i HAD to do a lesson on the fact they were called nudes, not naked people. Why are school boards giving into nonsense? How are classic artistic nudes pornography? At the most the offended mother's kid should be given something else, but to fire the guy? That's idiotic.

This is sick. We have to change beautiful paintings by skilled artists and censor our culture just so some whiny femenists can have their way.

Reading this article, I can't help but feel that there's more to this story that the media doesn't care to talk about because it's not as click-baity as "art teacher fired when students find nude art".

There's a rather vague reference to him being fired for his reaction, but the claimed statement attributed to him is "grow up"...not exactly a tirade.

Then there's this nugget: "A Utah teacher..." which likely explains everything.
