Well and eloquently argued. It seems women, at least for now, will need to lead in the fight against the excesses of feminism. Years ago, as a chubby middle aged professor, I well remember retreating to my office to eat lunch just to spare the effort of averting my gaze constantly from the undergraduate rites of spring.

Women express their sexuality by putting out signals. Men express their sexuality by responding to signals. Our society now encourages the right to one of these and demonizes the other.

What if, in response to slut walks, we held "perv walks?" We could try to look as creepy as possible and carry signs such as "None of us would be here without the male gaze."
