I am more or less a democratic socialist. Civil rights have always been fought for primarily by the left and men's rights should be no different. The only help we will ever get from the right will be if we are a useful tool to strike against the left and we will be discarded the moment we cease to be useful to them.

Center left. Previously far left/male feminist, and then i found this sub and got redpilled. There's a lot of branches of men's rights, and what people usually think of is the misogynistic neckbeard asshole. Usually those guys are far right, but the majority of MRAs are random.

Center-left. I'm in a voter's crisis right now about voting for my own party, since they are increasingly pandering to their own extremists. I honestly think this is a reaction to the GOP pandering to its extremists, but it's sad to see nonetheless. I don't feel represented by either party anymore.

It seems to me that every time this has been asked, I have seen most people respond with center or right leaning center. Not too many far lefts from what I gather. I myself am libertarian.

There are a fair few lefties here who make significant contributions. /u/ee4m and /u/davidbyron2 are the two that spring to mind. But most, including myself, seem to default somewhere around the centre right position.

If you look at most of the mens rights issues and intellectuals, they are left wing.

There are a lot of right wing mra's that are concerned with equality under the law, which is totally valid - but legal equality is traditionally left wing and the american right opposed the ERA, the lack of which leads to a lot of the legal problems american men face.

And what is lesser known is the right funded and promoted modern feminism and modern social sciences as a way of controlling and discrediting the left and draging it to the right, so the mainstream left isn't really the left.

Communist. Feminism is a right wing movement but most of the people hear don't want to hear that for obvious reasons. I've made this argument various times here over the years and no doubt will again from time to time.
