Look, Josh Wheaton was always a shit feminist. He uses the exact same three female characters in we he does. It's fucking boring.

I always wondered why he was a 'feminist darling'. 'manic pixie dreamgirls' are extremely destructive in real life, and also in movies exist only for the sake of the male.

His male characters are moderately better done, but still goddamn awful. His one redeeming value is that since of the stuff he's done is honestly enjoyable.

But that's the point. He's a low brow producer who tries to cloak himself in high brow mystique by claiming hidden meaning and other bullshit.

Anyway I've already been bothered by the way the media claims he 'explores femnist themes', and 'female empowerment'
