I read the Social Female Matrix and everything this person does applies to those principles.

My issue is that all the other women working with us are a little more level headed (we work IT, mainly web design). This one, on the other hand, has been using all the backstabbing and womanish tactics imaginable on men and women she thought were a problem for her.

Refusing to learn and trying to get the group to do her job... gossiping half-thruths to people who don’t work with us to make allies and make others look bad... using the fact she’s likeable as an exucse to avoid doing her job and getting help... trying to pass her incompetent judgement on professional issues just because she has my manager’s ear... etc.

Lately, she went as far as blaming all her problems on my wrongful approach to the job. She insists we are supposed to act the way she likes and stop expecting her to imrpove on things she doesn’t know. We are supposed to put people at her side, if necessary, so that she can work with ease. And we are also supposed to never give her again projects that are not popular or important, because she’s no loger willingly to “eat shit” at work...

At the same time, she went around telling everyone that the latest job was a two-people job (cause she had been doing it with another woman) and that they needed to talk to our manager so that future jobs are done this way. It was actually a one-man project, but she started gathering support from other women who liked her...

And then I have to deal with the backlash of talking to my manager about these issues to make him understand that she’s just an insecure, subpar employee who uses social tactics to get her way... or how she blatanlty said that she’s 34 so she no longer wants to bust her ass and I should stop the way I act and find another company that pays me more for my work instead of being here bothering her...

My team kicks ass, and she’s been put to work with us recently. I want her out. My manager (company owner) likes her, and decided to look the other way on this bitch’s behavior.

At this point, I want her to go work with him, and no longer in my way. The way she even tries to defy me by saying that “it’s important you don’t work too much so I don’t fall behind” is insane. And the fact it’s followed by gossip and complaints behind my back, is equally infuriating...

tl;dr: How can I approach my manager about this, considering he likes her? My idea is to make it clear to him that she hates this job and it’s unfair to make her suffer through it. Converesely, she really likes working with my manager, so why doesn’t he take her under his wing?
