He’s terminal and can’t be saved from his vegetative state. Even the Italian docs agree with that assessment. They’re just offering to let him stay on life support until the parents are out of money and they’re forced to take him off support again. There’s no recovery possible no matter what. That’s why the NHS stopped their treatment of him in the first place.

I can’t see this being any different if the child happened to be female.

To think I was lectured for years at that if we didn't have the NHS people would die out on the streets, what bullshit.
