Man gets groped by extremely drunk woman on plane. All flight attendants do is escort the intoxicated woman off the plane, and the woman was too drunk to walk on her own. Delta is refusing to report it to police.

If the airline wont file a police report Im glad that he is. Delta will take a lot of shit for how they handled this. Like he said if it was a man that groped a woman charges would be laid. Equality goes both ways.

Flight attendant immediately assumed it was a joke:

Few things are as hilarious as joking about being sexually assaulted, amirite? Surely that is the first thing any normal person would assume.

Makes me think of the Chappelle bit on "man rape." For some reason it's okay to joke about rape as long as it's joking about men being raped.

To be fair the reverse has occurred and it is never reported... one woman woke up to a man groping her breasts during flight... he was moved.. upon landing nothing occurred. The man deboarded and walked away. This is an airline industry issue and not a gender issue.

Not exactly the same but I had a young woman grab my junk at a bar one day right in front of the bartender and a bouncer and exclaim “you are hot now!” I wasn’t even talking to her, just going for a space to make an order. I felt bad but didn’t want to make trouble.

If I had grabbed her boobs I would have been temporarily banned at best, sexual assault charges at worse.
