It's clear after what happen to Patrick Brown the men of Ontario need a champion. I'm asking you to sign this petition and spread it around to everyone you can, the war on men has to stop and Jordan Peterson is the only man in Ontario who has the intellect, charisma, knowledge, and popularity, and courage to do so.

I'm a New Democract, but I'm willing to support Jordan Peterson for PC Leader and Premier.

Please join me and sign the petition if you want the war on men to stop.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Jordan Peterson is a part of the war on men pal. He believes that men have a christian duty to breed and labor without thought for the benefit of the white family.

https://imgur.com/a/K9ykE

Why would someone like that ever challenge the family court system? They wouldn't, it's doing exactly what he wants it to.

[–]eightgaydiamonds 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

he's made statement supportive of almost every mens rights issue, including listing the family courts as an OBSTACLE to his tradcon agenda. So no, he's not george bush.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

every time someone like this gains popularity, everything they say turns out to be lipservice in order to gain a following and shill an agenda. There still has yet to be a push for even ONE piece of Men's Rights legislation.

It's easy to see where he falls politically, and therefore what his REAL policies would look like. I don't have a problem with agreeing on policy, such as rape witch trials, but I'm not going to be forced into marriage, child support, alimony, etc. that his ilk have always believed in.

Approach with caution, read the critiques too.

It isn't any secret to people that are into that side of things that postmodernism is a capitalist ideology and not a marxist one. He gets taken apart by the left the same way he can take neoliberal feminist journalists apart. Its easy to think our shit dont stink when we are in a bubble debating feminists, but outside of that its a different world.

Peterson traces the dangers of postmodernism to a place of ill repute: Paris. In particular, the École Normale Supérieure, a centuries-old university founded to realize the ideals of the Enlightenment. That sinister institution was where Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault got their start as students of philosophy, initiating a school of thought that has now taken over the world. Not only were Derrida and Foucault “the two architects of the postmodernist movement,” Peterson has said in a lecture, “they were avowed Marxists.”

The conflation of postmodernism and Marxism may come as some surprise to those who identify as belonging to either side of the equation. Perhaps the best-known theorization of postmodernity, Fredric Jameson’s Postmodernism: The Cultural Logic of Late Capitalism, conceives of the period as an object of inquiry to which Marxist analysis may be applied, not a theoretical perspective. Today, it is not uncommon to see condemnations of postmodernism and pleas for a return to Enlightenment rationality in the pages of Jacobin. But Peterson is not the only ideologue to elide the distinction between these usually opposed frameworks. This strange conspiracy theory has increasingly gained traction among the far right, famously appearing in 2083: A European Declaration of Independence, the manifesto Anders Brevik distributed before he murdered 77 people in Norway.

Its origins were surprisingly deliberate, emerging from a paleoconservative Washington think tank called the Free Congress Foundation. The FCF was founded by Paul Weyrich, a founder of the Heritage Foundation and namer of the so-called Moral Majority movement. Weyrich also created a TV network called National Empowerment Television, a short-lived predecessor to Fox News, which aired a documentary in 1999 called “Political Correctness: The Frankfurt School.” Hosted by a pipe-wielding human bleach stain named William Lind, it presents an account of the origin of what we now call “identity politics.” These came, Lind tells us, from the Institute for Social Research, or the Frankfurt School. There, Theodor Adorno, Herbert Marcuse, and their cronies created a school of thought called “critical theory,” which the FCF gave the name “cultural Marxism.” This frightening idea fused the impertinence of Marx with the indecency of Freud, producing a new threat to Western values far beyond those posed by Copernicus or Darwin. This argument was elevated to the surface of political discourse by Patrick Buchanan, in his 2001 Oswald Spengler rewrite, The Death of the West. As recently as 2017, Buchanan condemned “Postmodern America” in a column defending Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore.

Like all the classic conspiracy theories, the antisemitism here is barely concealed. One proponent of the theory, psychologist Kevin MacDonald, has argued that cultural Marxism is an expression of what he calls a “group evolutionary strategy” characteristic of Jewish people. MacDonald acknowledges that not all Jews are radical leftists, but, argues that regardless, these movements are “Jewishly motivated.”

Honestly I don't care about such arcane matters, I want someone who will stand up to the war on men and the war on free speech, won't destroy the social safety net, and woulf have the popular enough support to actually win.

I can think of one name that fits that bill in Ontario and only one, Jordan Peterson.

I understand as a Marxist he makes you uncomfortable, hell while I'm a life long leftwinger, although I'm not a marxist, I never thought I'd ever concider voting PC, but these are extreme times and the hateful madness has to stop.

There, this is what neoliberal idpol and conservative policy has done in the UK

Seven in 10 UK workers are 'chronically broke', study finds

https://www.theguardian.com/money/2018/jan/25/uk-workers-chronically-broke-study-economic-insecurity

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I'm well aware how bad neoliberalism is, but one crisis at a time.

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You are taking about voting for more extreme neoliberalism though.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It hasn't been shown that Peterson is a more extreme form of neoliberalism.

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Conservatives are the more extreme form of neoliberalism than the left of neoliberalism.

120,000 deaths in UK from health care cut backs, 1 in 7 broke due to neoliberalism in the uk.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This Canada, not the UK and Jordon Peterson is not PM Cameron, or PM May,, he supports socialized medicine.

[–]Rethgil 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Agreed. Theres times when we've GOT to put aside our differences for more immediate, threatening issues. Unless we begin to unite over men's issues I don't see how things will ever change.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed.

[–]ee4m -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

I want someone who will stand up to the war on men and the war on free speech, won't destroy the social safety net, and woulf have the popular enough support to actually win.

If peterson is a shill the far right, and repeating far right conspiracy theories and his support base are largely far right and he's leading people to vote far right, because of non existent marxist threat I don't think you get those things.

I understand as a Marxist he makes you uncomfortable,

Im not a marxist. This movement is going as nuts and out of touch with reality as feminism.

I never thought I'd ever concider voting PC,

And here it is, men being manipulated into pushing right.

Progressive conservative, thats a dead give away for extreme right - right wing dressed up in the clothes of the left.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

Your really unfairly type casting the guy and his supporter, some are far right, but far from all. Jordan is not far right himself.

Do you have a better suggestion?

[–]ee4m -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link

Your really unfairly type casting the guy and his supporter, some are far right, but far from all. Jordan is not far right himself.

The conspiracy theories he is promoting are far right, he recommends people read a book from an extreme right, hand everything, even the public roads over to billionaires group.

Do you have a better suggestion?

Its obvious sanders and corbyn have called to end idpol. The actual left views idpol, correctly as the neoliberal right.

Do you want to sell your country out to billionaires who want to tear up the anti pollution laws like whats happening in the US?

Look at the shit going further right to escape neoliberal idpol got them.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

Jordian Peterson supports socialize medicine, I'll focus on what he actually supports, not guilt by association.

[–]superhobo666 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you're wasting your time trying to argue with ee4m, theyre on here trolling in nearly every threat spewing borderline feminist drivel daily.

[–]Rethgil 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Seconded that ee4m is a waste of time in this area when and is spewing trash about UK politicians.

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Speaking of guilt by association.

Have you noticed the argument he makes - he conflates neoliberal postmodernism, which is capitalist, with marxism, then he leaps from there to Stalin, who is regarded as an blight on marxism, and starts talking about x bazillion intentional deaths and makes out there is a risk of stalinism happening again.

When its unknown and controversial whether those deaths were intentional or not.

It looks a lot like fearmongering and manipulation, a reductio ad stalinum fallacy.

[–]eightgaydiamonds 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

His argument is actually that marxists use postmoderism to pretend they're evil. He is definitely also very postmodern but doesnt seem to have the same definitions of these terms.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

For practical concerns it doesn't matter if the deaths Stalin caused we're accidental or on purpose, the source of his behavior is the same.

Honestly I'm very left wing economically, but I'm not a Marxist, and I have no interest in defending Marxism.

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

For practical concerns it doesn't matter if the deaths Stalin caused we're accidental or on purpose, the source of his behavior is the same.

No its not. His advisors wanted him to get 250,000 tractors in the rush to modernize and rebuild russia after it was destroyed after ww1 and before the next famine struck.

Its unclear to what extent that the west were sabotaging that effort though sanctions at the time, there were trade blocks which hindered modernization.

And Stalin was an egotist and was preoccupied by the threat of western invasion and focused resources there, and to power generation.

The modern russian version of events is that capitalist interests refused gold and insisted on grain in return for machinery, during the famine.

Russia eventually fixed the problem of the natural famines and droughts that were effecting the region every ten years or so.

But peterson would have you believe and different version of events, omitting all kinds of details for his postmodernism = stalin = genocide fallacy.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Honestly I'm more concerned with the war against men in Canadian, not Stalin's fuck ups or capitalist assholes fucking with the Russian economy.

I asked you do you have a better solution to the war against men in Ontario? That is what is revelant, not a debate on Stalin. That is the focus of my concern.

[–]Rethgil -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Ee4m is always rabidly hard Left and typically of such people unwilling to compromise over ANYTHING he disagrees with, regardless of the fact that such Loony Lefties usually themselves are white knights feminist stooges.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He's also 100% correct, pointing out someone's colors like a child does nothing. Jordan Peterson is a classic "Cold Warrior", calling on conspiracy theories, god, and popular culture to "prove" that the world is actually a postmodern marxist dystopia despite the fact that every single one of us is living under some form of capitalism.

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Im.not hard left at all. Im critical of the far right of this movement repeating conspiracy theories and supporting economics that are bad for men.

[–]omegaphallic[S] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Let's not make this personal, he has his principles and I have mine, and each of us should prosue them as best we can.

[–]Rethgil 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You honestly cite CORBYN as an answer?! He's the worst white knight of the lot with his talk of excluding men from female train carriages and "guaranteeing equal pay for all women as a TOP PRIORITY"!

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

That was years ago, he has since called out idpol.

They know the far right are manipulating young men because the new left went right wing, embraced idpol and dropped average peoples politics for right wing economics, thats why corbyn and sanders are speaking against it.

Jumping to the far right is even worse than staying with neoliberal idpol.

7 in 10 british people are broke, 100s 1000s have died from cutbacks to healthcare due to right wing economics, have some sense of proportion.

And when politicians like corbyn start sticking up for working class men and speaking against neoliberal idpol, let them know you like it.

Thats how we turn it around.

[–]eightgaydiamonds 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The fact that you use the term "far right" i thought you were a communist, but maybe you are just a normie.

[–]ee4m 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That makes no sense. Whats wrong with calling the far right the far right?

[–]eightgaydiamonds 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Milo is far right. Ann Coulter is far right. People like Jordan Peterson are like somewhere in the center and have appeal to people with many political orientations. Is Bernie fucking Sanders far right now? What about Al Franken, he touched a boob so that makes him far right. Did you know a nazi sockpuppet follows Obama on twitter? That makes him far right now.
