It was an oxymoron when feminism used to be about equality.... I mean..... "how can you try & achieve equality by focusing only on one half of the equation?"

Any mathematician will tell you that's an awful strategy, as will most achedemics and intelligent folk alike but feminism persisted it could and it was to the detriment of men mostly as we bore the brunt of blame and not only misrepresentation but lack of representation as women enjoyed not only liberation from societal norms but compassion & funding for necessary societal needs.

Men on the other hand have been on the losing end hand over foot & unfortunately not always as a consequence but what is more worryingly an ever-growing distain and misandry towards both men & boys

When I search feminism I get:

fem·i·nism
[ˈfeməˌnizəm]

the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes.

Seems clearly sexist to me, only advocacy of women's rights. Not for men's rights, not for the rights of all people, only the rights of women.

Sure the 'basis' might be equality, but the actual advocacy is only for women and therefore sexist. For example it is already illegal in my country to pay people differently based on their sex, so any activism to pay women more to eliminate a 'wage gap' would have to be sexist.
