This is the thousandth repost, but one thing Ill say is, the normalisation and celebration of single motherhood by feminists, and the suppression of legitimate criticism of alternative family models that leaves fathers feeling irrelevant, and children vulnerable to abuse, because the so called liberation of women from oppressive patriarchal institutions is prioritized over the health of society , is one of the most malicious and damaging things institutional feminists have done. I dont think the history books of the future will be so kind to the feminists, and their 50 year assault on the nuclear and traditional family.

This might be an appropriate place to ask: As a private teacher I have a 16 year old boy as a student who sucks at shaking hands. He literally just reaches out with this hand, and doesn't even grab/hold on to mine. I tried telling him once that he should be more firm with his handshake, because other people will judge him for it, and will conclude that he is a weak willed man who can be pushed around (I know I did come to this conclusion).

Then we practiced it a little, after a while managing to at least hold it a little, but since then he does the same thing as before, and I find hand shakes with him outright repulsive, but hasn't brought it up since. How would you aproach this situation? I know its not my job to teach him, but clearly no one is teaching him.

As a black male, this is common in black communities. In schools where students are pre-dominantly black, many of the older black male teachers try to be role models to make a difference in child because of the disproportionately high amount of single black mothers.
