I don’t know why reporters need to be in locker rooms period. That shit is for team staff, and no one else. When a player is ready to talk they’ll come out.

or they can not consent and you have no right suddenly at all to be in the locker room with all the other men.

It’s crazy how much she deliberately lies. Reporters are allowed in after ten minutes when most men are still changing. There’s not enough showers for a whole team to shower before this. Many men have come out against this claiming that they are constantly ogled while dressing, but are always beaten down by the media as sexists. This is completely different in the wnba where all athletes are confirmed to be dressed before any media is allowed in.

This has been discussed by former collegiate athletes on askreddit more than once and each time they talk about how uncomfortable it is to be ogled. It’s always confirmed that female journalists, trainers, and coaching assistants are all granted full access to men’s locker rooms and will often congregate right outside of the showers.

Spoiler: that's not what consent is. This is why everyone is angry at Harvey Weinstein. He may not have held anyone down to rape them (though he probably did in some cases), but by saying "have sex with me or never work in your dream career again" he is metaphorically holding them down.
