Nigel will get little sympathy, given how he was a cheerleader for the Draconian Cuts of Legal Aide which even the highest judges warned would prevent Justice and cause miscarriages of Justice.

He now wants his own money back? He's one of the Lucky Ones who could afford to pay for legal representation and fight to clear his name.

I'll consider supporting him when he calls for a full review of Legal Aid and how the Draconian Cuts he pushed forward have affected Justice and even Civil Society in the UK... and how that damage should be reversed. He was falsely accused, but even the latest Government figures conceded that Thousands of elderly, ill and disabled people have died due to Cuts in Legal Aid which prevented them from appealing or any form of representation or advocacy in dealing with cuts to Benefits, Cuts to Basic Care, Cuts to Housing and Basic Human Rights.

I hope he will become a true champion of the oppressed and not just his champaign friends on the back benches.
