I hope NYPD gets sued for millions of dollars for not even bothering to investigate or take this seriously.

Hoping for a helpful answer. I’m thinking that recently MRA have rightfully been speaking about “innocent until proven guilty,” why are we not thinking the same thing here? How is this different than a woman accusing a man of rape, and being treated guilty before proven guilty? If the rolls were reversed; a female accuses her male boss of stuffing his underwear in her mouth. Wouldn’t we avoid treating him as guilty until it’s been proven?

The bigger double standard is that he couldn't belt her across the face or respond with aggression of his own kind.

The limitations men set between themselves for how far 'horseplay' can go is set by a measured understanding that if someone takes it too far, especially by laying hands, things can escalate to a violent conclusion. It's just how we regulate our own behavior, and while it may seem brutish to some, it's a lot simpler and more effective than tying up thousands of manhours for a legal resolution.

Women have immunity from this safeguard and are increasingly found abusing that natural 'right'. They know they're protected. It's not something they're explicitly taught, just something that gets sewn into their core understanding of the social world. "Men won't hurt me when other men are around"
