For all of you who have read this. I will give you my negatives because I’m not perfect but I have never cheated on him.

I have a history of anxiety, but I take medicine and have gone to therapy.

My previous ex husband broke his back and when pain pills didn’t cut it anymore he got addicted to heroin. He beat the shit out of me, and I was eventually hospitalized. He dragged out divorce proceedings for almost two years but it was finalized a full year before we started seeing each other exclusively. We had even been separated for two years, and my ex was already dating another woman a year. Did not bother me one but. He said if I can’t have you no one can.

I do have student loan debt that I am struggling to keep a handle on but have always told my husband that I would never expect him to pay for my mistakes.

My husband used to be a gym rat, and I’ve always encouraged him to continue that. At our house right now he has a very legitimate home gym in our pole barn. He lost his way with a shoulder injury and lost his passion for power lifting. I even supported other habits that came with that with no judgement, if it didn’t affect me, and he was happy there was nothing wrong with that in my eyes.

I have a very out going personality, which he thinks edges on flirty. However I have no male friends, always have my location shared, and rarely go out without him. He has my passcode to my phone, and I’ve never made a stink about him wanting to look through it.

I am not perfect by any means and I have made my own set of mistakes but I am no cheater. The person in our relationship that actually cheated was my husband over a year ago. And I forgave him, because he told me and seemed genuinely sorry.

Another point, I told him I would never expect marriage from him. I know how hard it was especially dealing with my past situation, when things got ugly. He was the one who wanted to get married and I can’t say I didn’t want to after him telling me that. We got married in a courthouse. I pay for my debts, my car, and some of the bills around the house plus managing the house.

He is not paying for my “habits” unless you want to consider trying to get him to go on date nights every once in a while. I’ve even offered to pay, most often he turns that down. Just since moving to this new city for his job while looking for my own new job, start sept 4, all I do is sit at the house most of the day. So yes I would like to get out of the house sometimes.

I can be a nag, I won’t lie. I’m a clean freak and sometimes I’d like some personal courtesy since I am the one who keeps the house.

My husband is not a bad guy. He is going through some stuff, that evidently he is shutting me out from. He does provide a great life for the dogs and myself. He is well educated and smart as a whip,

I have never cheated on him though, I won’t tolerate those lies.

Dude as someone who has struggled with a loved one with paranoid shizophrenia it sounds alot like what your going through right now. The sooner you get on top of this and commit yourself the quicker you will be on track to recovery. Do it for yourself and your family and the people that love you man.

I know how you're feeling man. My wife cheated on me too. She's a Serial relationship ruiner. She found other guys before relationships ended when it got tough. I'm just the first one that happened to be married to her. So I know exactly how you feel. We've only been apart for three months now. But as they said get a lawyer, list your assets, and start to get help for yourself. Whether this is therapy or just finding something to do to keep your mind off of this. Go out and make some new friends to keep busy.

Sorry to hear that brother. You seem solid and have a good attitude to do what you must. Find and read “the List”, start talking to lawyers and keep reading up here. I’m about at the same place as you so listen to others who have gone further in the process. Stay strong, make the future better for yourself than it would be with her.

I’m curious why do you say she’s a serial cheater ? How did you come to find this out ? This sucks hang in there
