Serious question, is anyone stupid enough to think that making something a "hate crime" or even a regular crime will just straight up stop it from happening altogether?

I'm pretty sure what was described is already illegal. Making it more illegal is not going to make a difference.... this is pure leftist logic.

So is there a law (that is enforced) against women slapping men? Is there a law (again, enforced) against women throwing stuff at men? Or do women get away with this on an hourly basis?

They wanted equality, that is what it looks like. Every man knows, that every guy has a line and if you cross that line, he's going to start swinging. Women used to be protected from that, because every guy was told from a young age that men and women are different and must be treated different. However, for decades women have told the world that they want equality, now that they got it.

As the saying goes: "be careful what you wish for, you may just get it."
