The power imbalance is that women fear men and women are taught to fear men because parents use a fear of boys to control their daughter’s behaviour, politicians use that fear to gain public support, newspaper use that fear to sell copies, women’s groups use that fear to borrow power from the powerful, charities use that fear to get donations, and lastly women themselves use that fear to bond with each other and create in-groups of accepted males.

Men are not the problem - it’s the sexist fear of men and the exploitation of that fear that is the problem.

A. Trudeau is a clown.

B. I don't agree with the premise that pornography is tantamount to "sexual abuse".

One might even make the argument that pornography prevents many men from harassing women in real life.

Prostitution is the oldest profession for a reason. It will always exist.

As long as somebody is willing to pay for it, and as long as somebody else is willing to do it for money, it will exist.

Is the porno industry perfect? Probably far from it. I'm sure there are many nefarious aspects to the porno and/or prostitution industry. That is certainly unfortunate.

But is it exploitation? Hard to say. More than likely that depends on the person.

One thing that makes me bristle is when women suggest that porno is somehow "bad". This bothers me. This indicates to me the level of how women do not understand men, yet feel at ease speaking for them. This bothers me.

Who am I to discuss a woman's period for example?

I truly find it an apt comparison. Feminists simply do not understand the male sexual necessity. They might even mock this concept. But when you think about it biologically in a reproductive sense. Women have a menstrual cycle, in order for the species to propagate. Men have a sexual necessity, for the same reason.

FYI - the author of that piece - Megan Murphy - is the person behind the Feminist Current website. She is awful. The precise opposite of human being.
