Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

Mother-of-two, 40, falsely branded a neighbour a sex offender because he 'made too much noise building a guinea pig hutch in his garden'. It seems for many women if they do not get their way they make a false sex allegation knowing a man is not protected by the law.

I mean, seems like a fair trade. Let's not pretend that all women can be trusted when they say they're all birth control.

I mean you are not wrong, but it beats getting parent trapped.

Showering before sex doesn't sound ideal, but j usually shower every night anyway so it would be fine for me. Step in the right direction.

The article is a little insulting "Will men remember?". The last contraceptive pill for men trial got horrendously detailed due to the suicide, hopefully this goes well.

Personally, I may use it but only as an additional measure. As of current, it seems too unreliable to be used as a sole means.

[–]dukunt 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not quite there yet but when it is, it will be a game changer for men.

Just imagine not having to worry about a condom breaking or leaking... Or having to take your partner's word that she is being responsible with her birth control.🤔

Just imagine lads.. Just imagine...

Cue feminists screaming to have it banned because men cant be trusted. Of course there is nothing stopping the woman from carrying on with her own contraception. What will upset feminists is that it will give men the same bodily autonomy that women have had since the 60s. Women have been able to take the pill and tell or not tell their partners. Now men are in the same position.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Most women want a Male contraception you. Women did not had bodily autonomy, because they don't have a choice of using contraception or not. They need to use contraception with side effects if they want to have sex or otherwise risk pregnancy.

Try again when you're sober. 👍😁

Got know arguments? Lul

[–]das_masterful -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I think I'd like my man to try it out. Us girls have had to bear the brunt of contraception for ages (condoms excepted) and we hate condoms.

I think this technology is great for couples who have kids, are in a long term relationship and don't have any sti concerns.

[–]AppleJuicePro 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Such a typical response.

"The burden of contraception" is in fact the ability to control your fertility, something many men can only dream of at the moment.

And quite frankly, why are you even here. r /feminism is over there ------>

Bye.

[–]das_masterful 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In case you couldn't fucking read, I support men who want to control their fertility. Stop being so regressive and look to the future.

I'm not, and won't ever be, a feminist. I have seen many women lie about birth control, and if the man is unable to father children (even temporarily) then that's a good thing that they won't be forced into fatherhood.

Certified 👏incel👏 post you fucking dumbass

[–]PM_ME_NICE_STUFF1 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I disagree with "the brunt of contraception" too, but wtf? The downvotes really aren't necessary, gents.

[–]mattias444 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The female pill can have some side effects so I think it's quite valid.

[–]PM_ME_NICE_STUFF1 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sure, but that's not the point here. The point is that being able to not being parent trapped is preferable to being parent trapped.

[–]sofjiihdd 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You do realise that condoms protect against more than just getting pregnant

[–]das_masterful 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh, absolutely. I was thinking moreso that couples would like to use this instead of condoms since the likelihood of sti's are lower, especially in monogamous relationships.

Sadly still 5 to 10 years to wait.

[–]jadedlonewolf89 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

So an aggravating/painful thing for me is that I’m sterile have the paperwork to prove it and even get checked often enough to see if anything has changed or if there is any procedure to change my situation. Personally I actually want children and I’ve been rejected for it which is something I understand. Personal experience as I’ve been in a relationship with someone who didn’t know I was sterile and the amount of vitriol I got when she found out, I’m going to go ahead and assume that plenty of women are going to be pissed about men not letting them have the choice if an effective male pill actually gets made.

[–]sofjiihdd 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Some women won't like the fact that they will be able to trick men into becoming father's

[–]PM_ME_NICE_STUFF1 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the two situations can't be compared. Young people get together to start a family (exemptions surely exist), so your partner would expect to be told that you are infertile before starting something serious and investing feelings.

Any product name mentioned?

I will not give the dailyfail a click and they are the only source for male pill from a google search in the last 24hr.
