Let’s say there was a large air strike, and 50 people died. Almost always, the media shows stats saying “10 women and children were killed”. Wait, so 40 men were killed. Do men’s lives not matter as much? Any single time you see a tragedy happen it’s always the same. Women and children hurt, men left out. Men’s deaths are ignored. I know that men are primarily composing the labor deaths, yet I never hear about it in the media. I know men commit suicide more, yet I never hear about a male suicide crisis in the media, only that more men are murderers and rapists. The media always gives men the short stick.
