Title asks it all, but to give some context as to why I am asking - one of my bestfriends told me she really loves me. Had me quite confused since I have always seen her as a friend, and I have never been anything more than that to her. If she had said it casually I wouldn't care, but the way she said was as if it implied more. So is it possible for a female to develop feelings over a very long period of time? Or when they say it to friends is it always platonic to them?
