Hello! I'm reading the book "The Rational Male" and he goes about how spinning plates as a method to getting "The one" (AKA Oneitis) is a recipe for disaster, even when you're in a LTR.
However; let's say you do end up in a LTR with a chick that rocks your socks, how tha f*ck would you apply the spinning plates theory?
The one thing that I can figure out is that one of your "plates" could be just being perfectly OK with your solitude, and knowing that if that LTR goes south, you have the confidence and knowledge of getting back into spinning plates.
However; he does mention that the main goal is achieve non exclusivity even if you're in a LTR / marriage... wouldn't that be cheating?
Would greatly appreciate some clarification.
