Hey Guys,

I’ll try to make this as short as possible. I have a friend, let’s call her L, who has been acting very bitchy and angry towards me lately. Now L and I have been friends for a good 7 months and our relationship was very solid up until recently.

When I first met L, I had met her older sister at the same time as well. I found L’s older sister attractive, and it made it obvious in my pursuit of her, but eventually lost all feelings towards her. L noticed that I had an attraction towards her older sister, and told me that it was a primary reason as to why L and I would never be anything more than friends.

Recently L’s older sister and I have been spending a lot of time together, as we are taking many of the same classes in college. L has been increasingly bitchy and frustrated towards me, and when confronted by her older sister in regards to L’s behavior towards me, L simply responded “I don’t know, he just does things that piss me off and annoy me for no reason”.

Is there any explanation behind her behavior, and what is the best way to respond to her outright rudeness. Would ignoring her for the time being be the best option, until she reaches out to me herself? Or is walking away from her the best course of action? We are in the same friend group, and I would like to keep those said friends, but I’m willing to walk away if need be. Many thanks in advance to you all!
