Exactly. 13 year olds saying "ladies first" to their male friends as a joke isn't sexist. Holding a door to be "chivalrous" isn't a sexist standard nor an obligation. But imagine you're on a sinking cruiser, and the captain says "whites on the life boats first". That would be racial discrimination

Ladies first applies to a lot of other things in life.
Jobs, scholarships, access to aid and welfare. Really just about everything in life is "ladies first".
