Why is everyone blaming men for not wearing masks when it’s clearly women?

Underlying any baseless accusation is the foundation of hate. Therefore any behavior, real or imagined is fuel for that hate. People do stupid shit. Sometimes those people are men. Then you take the stupidity of the individual to justify all your already there hate. We all like to feel justified when we have a irrational dislike for something. It defeats the inhibitions we feel because deep down we know they're in fact irrational, but we want to express them anyway.

If I had to take a guess, a lot of women wear their masks, but not properly. They drop them below their nose or under their chin while still "wearing them".

A lot of men either wear their masks properly or not at all.

Of course the whole thing is pretty stupid. That's just what I've seen.

I think there's plenty of evidence that gender has little to do with not wearing a mask. It's just a way to find something to complain about to try to reinforce the person that's blaming them's position that they already have.

This is harsh of me but it's not just the masks, I also noticed that that the media were trying to talk about how bad the virus was generally and were writing about these tragic deaths. Almost every single person in the photographs that was listed was drastically overweight and then eventually there were articles coming out that admitted the most at risk people were elderly and the overweight. We've had an obesity crisis in the west for years so it's no surprise to me that the virus has been as bad as it is if it a big symptom affects peoples' breathing. The virus is very real, but there is also so much bullshit that the media is pulling in regards to how they report on it.
