Since there's nothing to learn in the act itself, my guess is they aren't doing it to her standards.

I get it, so to the Brits a comparable to “let me drive you the store” becomes “let me ford you to the store” because educated English (maybe only fems) turn product names into verbs.

It’s funny, in the US (I know we are troglodytes), but Hoover is company, a dam and family name (dang, didn’t we have a President with that name?). When I look up vacuum, or vacuuming - it is a void in space, a device to clean carpets, or the act of cleaning (this is the vacuuming, I only say this for my fellow troglodytes, as I’m sure the others all knew this).

But dang, as flat out stupid as we are, our word select, seems to be consistent with the dictionary. Must be blind luck.

Because she's the victim then of these horrid sons who won't conform to enlightened feminist gender roles. It will get her sympathy, attention, and even a little status in her community.
