So, first of all the caveat: academic rights watch is a right wing / libertarian outfit with a perhaps undeserved reputation for sympathies with the Sweden Democrats. Does not mean they are spouting nonsense in a particular case, but does call for a grain of salt.

But the study is credible. It is a bit unfortunate that they use female as a noun throughout - we Swedes write English well enough not to need editors, but far from native speakers, which we often forget. But the data I checked hold up, albeit with substantial differences across disciplines (no difference in humanities; large differences in the natural sciences).

Feminists would try to explain these figures with references to phenomena like discouragement and insufficient credit. But even if we grant those, the average difference will still be stark.

What the study neglects, however, is that the system allows excellence in teaching partially to make up for a lower score in research. That might be a factor, although I have no reason to think women are better teachers on average than men.

Clearly, whatever the remainder is once you control for these factors, are a result of almost four decades of informal and formal "positive" discrimination. As a hobby economist, it is hard for me to understand anyone would expect a different result. If you artificially constrain supply, the average quality of supply will decrease. You know, sort of like the price for hand sanitiser in current times. What on earth is surprising about this...?
