Wow. Every part of that is totally wrong.

When was the last time theguardian didn't lie

It's not lying. It's "journalism." /s

Yes, you read it right. This mob claims that there is bias against women in the family court in the UK. And I think they are serious!

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think they are mistaking "against" with "in favour of"

[–]Ironwarrior29 8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Right, that's why almost all child abuse is committed by mothers

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It depends overall moms are more abusive than dads

Sources please. In the absence of them this comes off as misogyny. Also I doubt it's truly "almost all".

Anything less than total feminist control of the Family Court process is a crime against women, or so these radical feminists believe.

My experience of Family Law cases over many years is that false allegations are consistently used to leverage property settlements in favour of mothers. Everyone, including the judges, are aware the threats are often bogus, but nobody somuch as blinks, it is so common. The fiction of protecting children from harm is used as veil to cover feminist bias against fathers. On several occassions I observed mothers accuse fathers of sexually abusing the child/children, securing an interim order to suspend all contact with the father, but then sending the child/children off to stay with the father while the mothers went off on holidays with their new partner, or worked. Clearly there was no fear of the child/children being abused.

Any father attempting to secure shared custody or 50/50 parenting orders was expected to put down a deposit of $60,000-70,000 up front, and sign a declaration that he understood he would most likely not succeed. Privately, they were informed that they may have to endure long periods of no contact or strict supervised contact with his childen due to retaliatory allegations of domestic/child abuse. The abuse of the Family Law princple of "best interest of the child" has been abused ever since it's introduction.

No disagreement; I was just rhetorically pointing out the hypocrisy of their feminist dogmas.

That referenced article from the get go makes no sense. If women win 85% of custody...how is there a bias against them? Why do women who are violent, abusive, even as it sometimes turns out, homicidal, still allowed to associate with their children when fathers are not?

Why was this even written, its two paragraphs of just...meh. The last bit, where she says THIS is happening and whatnot doesn't even have a shred of evidence attached to it.

Nor do either 'articles' mention that a woman always has access to the silver bullet, she can claim abuse and essentially just win. A woman has to proven so unfit that nobody would want any child around her for her custody to be taken away, and sometimes when it does happen, she kills the child. Other times when the father warns of such happening, she does it and it could have been prevented, but the bias the courts have means that it won't be.
