Crosspost "Ex partner keeps attempting to stop my time with my son" from /r/LegalAdviceUK:
From England
To cut a long story short; my ex partner keeps threatening to stop me from being able to spend time with my son. She uses anything from emotional abuse (making me out to be a bad dad, saying i shouldn't be around my son etc) to straight up ignoring me and acting like she forgot it was my day with him. I am on his birth certificate and he is the absolute apple of my eye. I just want to be able to help raise him and spend time with him, have him stop over at mine and be a dad that is there. Is there any legal (free or cheap, I'm not made of money unfortunately) actions that I can take to help define set days or times or anything that she cannot avoid or stop? The mental strain that this is putting me under and has been for the past 2 years is really starting to grind on me and I am struggling to see any way to make this easier.
Tia.
Edit; added my country.
