So recently a group of women on my campus have been taking pictures of me when they think I’m not looking and when I tried reporting this to my professors they all said something around the lines of “Oh they’re just having fun!”. However a few months ago some guy almost got expelled for taking a picture of a woman who was volunteering at a high school-advertising event that he wanted to use for the university’s Twitter account. So basically it’s okay for women to take pictures of men without their consent but when a guy takes a picture of a woman without their consent he’s perverted creep? Personally I believe you should always ask someone, regardless of gender, before taking a picture of them.
