males often lack the extra female brain connectivity of the mid-brain emotive centers to executive decision-making centers in the top-front of the brain. Males do, however, have powerful access to features in the brain that compartmentalize, lateralize, cut the brain off from emotion.

Stating difference between sexes is okay if you start by stating that men lack something. Nice to see some strike at the social construct theory though.

Interesting read also on the consequences of ACE, enven though his recommandations are only "observe and assume". Not very much in practical healing, but it may be a start to build empathy.
