UK Domestic Abuse Bill 2019: One of the defining factors for "economic abuse" is having "sole control of family income". Many fathers are the only working person in a household and could be labelled abusive because they work to provide for their family.

It could also making a woman live on a budget, e.g. save for retirement instead of a vacation is now abuse.

This just serves to drive more men to not live with a woman in any way. The government gets to tax single people higher as they require seperate residences and need to buy everything they need to live.
