This is one of the most cancerous, anti-men threads I've seen on mainstream subs of reddit. Guy hosts party, supplies free alcohol & bartends, girl accuses guy of spiking her drink. He kicks her out because she unwarrantably accused him of being a rapist. Nearly everyone calls him an asshole

She didn't accuse him of anything. However, she did insult the host. Which is grounds for politely being asked to leave. He was pretty rude about how he asked her to leave and it was rude of her to refuse a drink. Her decision was based on fear. Which is generally not a reasonable way to act.

If she didn't trust the host, why would she attend his party, to begin with?

This is an easy way to spot a bigot. She lumped him in the same category as all men. We're all rapists, until proven otherwise. I pity her for being so ignorant.

I was actually just coming here to post this because I just saw it and wanted to see if it was already posted. I mean, if people were saying everyone sucks I could get it even though I disagree he did anything wrong. The thing is, accusing someone of planning on drugging and raping you is an asshole move. Even if anyone could be a rapist, treating an individual like a rapist with no evidence is just shitty.

On top of all that, I'd have acted much like he did. If you make a low level accusation like that at me, you're dead to me before you get a chance to make a more serious accusation. You don't come into my fucking house and insult me an expect hospitality.

Everyone saying he’s the asshole in that subreddit is such a white knight. If you come into my home, knowing there’s a party, drinks, etc. I offer you a drink, and you accuse me of spiking it, I would take that as disrespect and simply ask her to leave if she doesn’t want to take that risk. I know I wouldn’t drug the girls drink but if she’s so paranoid she might as well not be at the party in the first place. There’s nothing wrong with saying “listen, if you can’t appreciate the service I provide you with and accuse me of doing something as criminal as spiking your drink, which can get me into a lot of hot water with the law, then I’m going to have to ask you to leave. Especially if you fear the “risk” of being spiked, you might as well not be here and accuse me of something I don’t do.” No one is the asshole here. She didn’t feel comfortable and felt paranoid and the guy made it easy for her by letting her leave. Simple as that..
