A few months ago I posted I was concerned my daughter would try to have me arrested to get me out of her life (she's 8). Surprise surprise a few months later and low and behold I've been visited by the police and Cps twice. I gave my daughter 2 swats for spreading lotion on the floor and my pregnant wife almost slipped on it the spanking wasn't that hard and she didn't even move or wince my son also got one for helping her ,he commented and chided me that it didn't hurt were I replied my intent wasn't to hurt them but to let them know what they did ( my daughter in anger) was inappropriate. The CPS guy came over and proceeded to ask my wife about our sex life and other intrusive questions that had nothing to do with a spanking. I saw thier mother that weekend at the drop off and she went on a tyrade about my daughter saying she only showers once a week and that I yell at my wife and make her sad. My wife was standing there and outright refuted all these things as they are absolutely not true. My xwife wasn't having any of it and just kept throwing things out not even listening that or daughter is saying the same about her relationship and life with her mom. I pointed out that her life is her own business and has nothing to do with me especially warranting a call from CPS. We talked to my daughter later and she absolutely didn't give a rats *ss she almost got me arrested 3 times in 2 months and even said that she doesn't tell her mom about the trips we take or any of the fun things we do. My x suggested therapy with the express point of having my daughter blow me up on paper so she can get full custody. At this point I may just let her seeing as my daughter is proving to be more than complicit in trying to just throw me under the bus to please her mom. I love my daughter dearly and I know she's being alienated but shes making her own decisions about my involvement in her life idk what to do. The stress is causeing my wife to now have a hard pregnancy and she is worried night and day that my daughter and her mother will succeed at some point in trying to have me arrested. This all started when my xwife texted me about something and I told her to please leave me alone and we are no longer married and my home is my home not hers to run. She won't leave us alone and refuses to accept that I'm happily remarried and trying to be a good father to our children. Anyone else been through this if so what did you do and did it work out? It's been 4 years since divorce from hell and the x is still making me miserable.
