One explanation why an appealing Democratic candidate like Harris is falling behind an almost 70-year-old white woman with an identity crisis in the polls might have something to do with Harris’ lukewarm reception with black voters, who make up about 20 percent of all Democratic voters, according to 2016 primary exit polls and 2018 data from the PRC.

Maybe black voters don't particularly like her because she's made her career on locking up black people in San Francisco?

Or that her office made an argument against releasing non-violent offenders from California prisons because the prisons would lose some of their slave labor force?

The color of someones skin, will not make them a better or worse president. The gender of a person will not make them better or worse at being president. This identity politics has to stop be for it ends us all.

I understand that sounds a bit, over dramatic, silly, whatever.. but it is reality.
