The fact that she is a woman also has no relevance. I'm not going to make moral judgements based on what other people think of me.

I would say that making a judgement about saving a life based on gender is prejudice, plain and simple.

My issue is that I would take that risk for virtually anyone. To me, the better argument is: if you aren't willing to risk your life for an old man, don't do so for a young woman.

I can't just see someone in crisis and walk away. That being said, I'll think far harder about a woman because of the legal complications of the current climate.

I wouldn't even give cpr or help any woman big time, even if my life wasn't jeopardized. And for what, helping an ungrateful who gonna to accused me once again. Never again I would help a stranger, even less a female.

This very last week only, there are videos floating from Indian state of Gujarat where a man take extreme risk to save young girls from a burning building when even fireman couldn't do much (2 firemen got suspended and an inquiry is on). Local people caught these girls falling from 2nd or 3rd floor risking their own life. Warning, content it is extremely uncomfortable to watch.

Lets be real for a minute. If there is a woman trapped in a burning building, are you really okay with letting her potentially die while you had the ability to help? Are you able to live with yourself and not need a life time use of alcohol to do so if she dies? Are you willing to put your belief that she wouldn't help you ahead of a human life? At this point, do you HAVE great character??

Yeah she will probably file a false sexual harrassment alligation and ruin your life, then once the CCTV video comes out showing that you actually were helping her, she will act like the victim and get off Scot free.
