Every time something like that happens I see people demanding accountability from the police for what they did.

What about the accountability of the people that got hurt/killed by playing stupid games? They KNEW that Policemen (and women) usually have guns on them and they will also use them if you assault them OR try to steal their gun after tasing them.

Like what the fuck do they expect? Do they think they will pull a Hollywood move on them, disarm the cop and then shoot him and be a badass?

No, you will be shot. Probably multiple times too.

Stop playing stupid games, if you are truly innocent then just go and prove it without escalating it into a fight.

Look, basic fairearms training includes the understanding that you dont point guns at or shoot things you dont intend to kill. Dont argue how much someone is shot, argue if its right that they are in the first place. And if you tase a cop, then reach for his gun, youre probly gonna get shot.

So what they're effectively saying is that you're allowed to protect yourself. You're allowed to utilize non-lethal measures to do so. But if you try to protect yourself from a cop using non-lethal measures, you can expect to be shot dead, and the law finds nothing wrong with that.
