when in fact people working in the mental health field, as I do with clinical hypnotherapy, know that violence is usually rooted in trauma, not masculinity.

This is widely accepted as common knowledge when women are violent or honestly when women commit almost any crime.

Its almost never the fault of the woman, its because of something someone else did (usually a man).

It shows up [One stellar example(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Winkler), Ms Winkler shot her husband in the back with a shotgun, claimed spousal abuse post hoc, served 150 days in jail (60 in a mental health ward), and then still got custody of her kids. The Battered Woman Defense no less. Women that allege abuse also receive free legal aid and a free place to stay. I was banned from /r/legaladvice for asking a lawyer during an AMA that provides this service if men were elgible, if they were how they would get in contact with the program (because their point of contact is through women's shelters and there are no men's shelters in my state), and if she felt the benefit of free legal service and the upper hand in divorce/custody court could/would be abused in any way and how would they screen for that? banned simply for asking, for imaging that women might not be completely absolutely blameless at all times.

Or hell it doesnt have to be a single man, it can all be all of us at once.

Such as the new sentencing guidelines in the UK that outright instructs judges to be lenient on women because:

women suffer disadvantages and courts should ‘bear these matters in mind’.

or hell right here in the states under the Duluth Model the most widely promulgated intimate batterer prevention program, this is feminist policy:

When women use violence in an intimate relationship, the circumstances of that violence tend to differ from when men use violence. Men’s use of violence against women is learned and reinforced through many social, cultural and institutional experiences. Women’s use of violence does not have the same kind of societal support.

Imagine a world where you can say that last line with a straight face and still be taken seriously. Who here lives in a society that supports violence against women?

But thats the point, when women use violence its because they are fallen angels using it as a last resort to save themselves or their children from a man.

When men use violence its because they are animals and need to be put down.

Because theres an ideological movement thats been trying (and succeeding) in convincing people that men are inherently toxic and have to be treated this way....but not women, they are wonderful. They just sometimes fall from grace because of something a man did.

Oh, I see... So finally the cat is out of the bag, mm? So it's not a product of socialization or anything like that, but something inherent to maleness?

It's interesting how some people's views can be seen so clearly when you focus on the parts of the text they were probably not so careful about, because you were supposed to focus on the other paragraphs...
