It is often stated that we are the average of the 5 people we hang out with the most. These days, I became aware of another reality (will seem super obvious but I know every one of us needs to hear it again at some point): not all relationships are equal. Some will weigh way more than others. I know, still seems obvious. But now, imagine you leave the one relationship in your life that is responsible for 80% of your negative emotional states. Well, for me, I will not say it was (and is still not) easy, but at least, I rediscovered simple pleasures of life and the importance of life. By that I want to say that life is too short to waste it with someone who is not for you.
And I have to thank this sub for this and simply for existing.
I hope it helped at least someone. Cheers
