I'm coming to terms with the fact I'm not so original.

Is taking an idea someone else made, and then remaking it differently in your own way, considered valuable?

Think of the guy who takes a book and turns it into a TV show or a movie.

Or a guy who takes an old fairy tale and makes it into a disney animation.

Or the guy who takes an old red pill idea and rewrites it up again.

A guy who starts another 1million subscriber top15 youtube channel.

The list goes on.

Are these guys who just recreate what they've seen, in their own, new way, actually creating content / value?

Is that considered valuable?
