I think if you do enough of the math you eventually come down to the the following choices:

1)women as a group want to be able to speak freely, accuse freely, and claim victimization freely so badly, they are willing to sacrifice all or most ability to effect legal charges

OR

2) women as group want to be taken seriously in courts of law when they make claims of victimization, to the point they are willing to control even their most baseless gossiping, shaming, group think, and accusing and limit it all to solid and clear evidence based wrongdoing.

And I have a feeling its come down to this a few times in history and women clearly chose option one, just as they are doing right now, by their actions if not an outright vote.

So, all these claims that the patriarchy unfairly took away women's legal rights is a bunch of historical revisionism. The worst scenario is that women in the past could also make accusations without consequence or proof or truth, while men were getting both fairly and unfairly destroyed and the choice was forced on them for it, given what they will obviously do if they get the best of both worlds.....act like entitled over-lords.
