Homeless crisis among men that no one wants to talk about.

The statistics globally are staggering...

On average, 70% of homeless people are male, and 29% are female. Finding sources for reliable information seems to be tricky, but I'll try to provide some sources.

In the USA, the average of homeless men compared to women is 60% for men, 38% for women:

In the UK the ratio is six to one. For every six homeless men, there is ONE homeless woman.

I chose the UK and the USA for statistics because it feels more relevant to this subreddit, but feel free to share more in the comments.

The reasons for this phenomenon seem to variate depending on what sources you look at, but the fact remains that women seem to get a lot more support when faced with sleeping rough in the streets than men do, which shows that inequality is becoming a serious issue for men.
