I didn't understand all of the article, but the part I did understand (I'm pretty high) I believe was that parents who speak negatively of the other parent, in front of their child, repeatedly, can be charged for abuse. That's the part I understood.

Anyway if I understood this right, THANK GOODNESS! I've seen way too many women speak negativity of their exes, to the point where it harms the children. I'm happy to hear this.

This is sadly quite a common reoccurrence in the UK.

To explain it simply.

The mother takes full control of the kid's education by constantly going against the father, the father starts to get more and more isolated from his kids and is pushed out of fatherhood so he becomes nothing more than a bank account.

Yes; but the problem is both that it's usually hard to prove (and criminal cases have a HIGH burden of proof, as they must have!), and also that court-cases take time, and while they're ongoing, the alienated parent and the children both continue to suffer.

So I think the even more important change is to make shared custody and comparable time spent with both parents the legal default and if one parent wants a different arrangement than that; then the burden of proof should be on THEM.

This is very common in the US also. My stepkids and husband are victims of their mom and her family, who convinced them that he is a bad parent, even though he is the only one that sets rules and boundaries.

On the positive side, it looks like all those failed young adults that were raised by alienators are now coming home to roost - at their mom's house. Hope she likes cleaning up after them, supporting them ( they can't hold a job or get a drivers license), and listening to them complain about how they hate their lives because all they know how to do is talk sh*t about people and run to mama when they get fired for their disrespectful, lazy ways.
