Why is it when a woman rejects a man for being "low quality" it's always perceived as hypergamy and Chad-chasing?

I agree that there's many cases of this. But it isn't all cases.

I am perfectly fine with a 6/10 or 7/10 male of my socioeconomic standing or equivalent for example.

I would even date a male with a slightly rough upbringing, but outright ratchet or hood nikkas is a no.

The dating pool available to me in the States of men of my same ethnic group (African-American) and area (...) were mostly hood nikkas twice over my age.

Why would that be "hypergamy" if I don't want to entertain a man with more uncouth and low inhib behavior, social norms, and is twice my age? Is that bad that I wasn't interested in the men pursuing me and showing me the most attention in the states?

Fact is, that some women are perceived as more bottom of the barrel than others like African-American women. Most American men see us as garbage and the only ones willing to date us are sadly, equally "garbage," (hood nikkas, criminals, mentally ill drug addicts, ect), or those using us for quick desperate sex.

Anti-blackness is "global" but there are countries where there's less of a penalty on Black women overall. For example, the European males who express attraction to me aren't necessarily trashy hood nikkas or drug addicts like it is in the USA (where I'm perceived bottom of the barrel).

In this (European) country I now live in there are a lot more WMBW pairings simply because BW aren't seen as trashy bottom of the barrel like they are in the USA. Other African-American women report better dating success and experiences overseas.

Is that hypergamy if i prefer dating a middle class or normie European with less hang ups about my race over an American hood ninja or trashcan who sees ABW as bottom of the barrel?
