Women not caring about men's physical appearance is an outdated idea that started decades ago, back when women HAD to marry a man in order to move up in society.

How many of you have grandmothers/aunts that got married simply because they had to? Back then the way society justified it was with the whole "she doesn't care about his looks, he has a great personality".

This is why a lot of men blame feminism for men's struggle today because if it wasn't for it women would still have to get married to men they find unattractive in order to move in society, men now have to improve themselves in order to be attractive, what most women never mention is that this doesn't apply for women, meaning women don't have any reason to improve, hence a lot of women are also really bad dating material and they aren't punished as bad as men in the dating world, but that's another thread entirely (This thread explained it decently IMHO).

The bottom line is, if you are not good-looking, stop chasing good-looking women, those women are going for physically good-looking men, and yes, I know, women do care about things like personality and confidence too, but guess what, the 6'2 dude that is way more good-looking than you? probably has a more fun personality and better confidence as a result of all the positive attention that he has had his entire life.

Now why I reached that conclusion: as a 30 yo unattractive man only once in my life, I had a woman showing interest in me, but she was really unattractive, that's basically when I stopped thinking I was going to end up alone because women who find me attractive exist, they're just not attractive, because looks matters more than people like to admit.
