In the new guardians of the galaxy movie there is a pretty touching scene for me where a character, Drax the destroyer, is called out for his true purpose…being a father and not being a destroyer because he was really good with kids, much better than the women in the scene.

I actually started to tear up a bit to my surprise as being hit with any kind of recognition in a movie that men could be good parental figures hit me out of left field. I’ve sat on it for a few days now and I still can’t reach a solid conclusion so as the title suggests, my question is what is this exactly? Has anyone else seen this and had similar reactions?
