Imho, the fact that men will cheer for a man that has been raped (in the sense "how lucky") comes from the fact that men are never made to feel like they can be desired by a woman, like they can be an object of lust.

And it's also amplified by the fact that even in a consensual relationship, if a man is not up for sex, he'll often be told he must be gay for not wanting sex.

So, a man that has been raped? That man was sought after. A woman desired him so much she was willing to force him to have sex with her. For people who have never felt desireable, that's could be a dream come true.

It's stupid and very damaging to men all over the world, but to me it's a direct consequence of the way romantic relationships are structured in our society.

I think that by in large men aren't getting physically raped, but they are getting financially raped in mass. It's encouraged and incentivized through legal standards.
