The issue started when a store had a huge display of clothes for young girls about feminism, girl boss, girl power, intersectional feminism, you matter, and all that "good" stuff but of course, there was nothing about the boys. To be frank there was nothing surprising really, whatever it is that you thought of when you read the title is exactly what happened.

The very most obnoxious, dumb, stupid, and the characters who were the butt of the joke 100% of the time were the ones concerned about it and raising complaints, whereas the most sensible, intelligent, charismatic, and important characters were making fun of the other side and ending it with a frustrated yell and an "I've had enough" moment from the female lead saying, "It's very hard not to see complaints as whining when you have everything." and the most fucking ironic thing about this whole thing is how she is the only one making 119$k a year whilst the others are barely living with all of the rent and living expenses and medical issues. More than that the CEO, district manager, manager, and assistant manager were women. Talk about irony.

Weirdly enough this isn't even why I decided to write the post. After that, she went off on a rant about how she was tired of coddling up men and fixing their problems. Wtf? Bear in mind that she was mainly having issues with her husband and workers both of whom she was responsible in doing her fair share of responsibility when it comes to that particular relationship and yet she made it sound like how she's a grown mature woman living in patriarchy and she's constantly dealing with men's problems and fragile feelings and having to solve them. I see this particular line of thinking a lot in every female-centric sub like TwoX and the others.

Like get a grip you're an adult living in a society composed of both men and women who are flawed and complex individuals. You'll constantly meet people whom you'll have conflicting ideals and beliefs with and it does come with a certain duty of being sensible and catering to their feelings in some cases, because you know... life. Imagine me making my aunt's issues and drama a women's issue that all of the other ones are responsible for or some shit.

What the fuck does that even mean? More than that so many questions and issues with all of this. The response that we got of why girls are growing up with words of encouragement and validation whilst boys are policed and told that there is something inherently toxic and wrong with them day after day is because "THEY" have everything already. Women for some reason shouldn't be equally responsible adults in the relationships that they hold and if a worker of yours is unsatisfied is not your fault but...men, ew. And most importantly how all of this garbage is a popular TV show.
